Sarah Randolph got off to a very difficult start, but righted her round after some early tough holes, and shot a solid score of 83. Sarah shot a very good score on her back nine (+2) on holes 1-9, overcoming a nervous start to her round and playing with more consistency as the day wore on. Kailey Cuevas, playing out of the #5 spot, posted a round of 86, hitting 6 greens in regulation, converting on a Birdie on hole #8, and making 4 pars.  The Tigers were in T-1st place overall after the first day with Orange Coast College, with rival Modesto JC right behind them by 1 shot.  The 323 team score is one of the best scores ever posted by a Reedley College team at the State Championships! Round #2 was rained out due to inclement weather and unplayable course conditions. As a result, the Tigers were not able to play for a State Championship on the golf course. OCC was named State Champions based on the 5th Player Tie Breaker rule. The Tigers were deemed the Runner-Ups even thought they had the exact same score as the Orange Coast College team. To be honest, it is a very unfair and tragic way to end the season for the BEST team in Reedley College history. Individually, Tessa Hernandez finished as the Tournament Medalist with her 72 (EVEN) total, the 6th player ever to make the All-State Team for the Tiger golf program!!  Marissa Martin finished in T-13th with an 82, and Sarah Randolph finished in 18th place with an 83 total, both very respectable totals for the Tiger Freshmen. Kailey Cuevas finished in T-27th place, Jacie Johnson finished in 34th place, and Kaitlin Paredes capped off a very successful Freshman season by finishing in T-37th place. Reedley finished as STATE CO-CHAMPIONS with a team total of 323, though they were relegated to 2nd Place as a result of the 5th Player Tie Breaker Rule. It was a terrific season for the Tigers. So sad that it had to end the way that it did. The Tigers were the best team in all of California!  The Tigers had a fantastic season, and the chance to compete at the State Championships was a terrific way to end 2025!  The Reedley College Tiger golf team completed the greatest season in women’s program history. Many great performances and records were set, both individually and as a team, and the Tigers have a tremendous amount to be proud of.  The future is very bright as well, with 5 out of the top 6 players returning, and the program looks forward to the future and the 2026 season next year!!  Go Tigers!!!
