Reedley Baseball Splits 4 vs. Oxnard, Santa Ana, Sierra, and Cuesta

Reedley College Baseball Recap: January 29 – February 3

Reedley College opened the stretch with an 8–2 victory over Oxnard on January 29, using a balanced offensive effort and solid pitching performance. After surrendering a run in the opening inning, Reedley responded with three runs in the third inning and added three more in the fourth to take control of the game. Micah Raygoza and Andrew Mora each drove in runs during the early rally, while Dom DeCanio added a solo home run in the eighth inning. Ian Snell earned the win on the mound, allowing one run over five innings.

On January 30, Reedley recorded a 6–5 walk-off victory against Santa Ana after scoring five runs in the bottom of the ninth inning. Trailing 5–1 entering the final frame, Reedley capitalized on defensive miscues and timely hitting. Preston Gaeta delivered a two-run single during the rally, and the game concluded on a wild pitch. Despite being out-hit, Reedley's persistence led to the late comeback victory.

Reedley took an early lead in the first inning, but Sierra answered with two runs in the third and continued to add insurance runs in the later innings. Reedley collected 10 hits but was limited to two runs, while Sierra's pitching staff kept the offense in check.

On February 3, Reedley dropped a 4–3 decision at Cuesta in a tightly contested road game. The contest was tied through six innings before Cuesta scored three unearned runs in the seventh inning. Reedley attempted a late rally in the ninth, scoring two runs, but fell one run short. Reedley was held to four hits in the game, while Cuesta used a bullpen effort to secure the victory.
