REEDLEY, Calif. — Over a dominant three-week stretch from November 13 through December 6, the Reedley College men's basketball team delivered one of the program's most impressive early-season runs, stacking six straight victories with a mix of balanced scoring, suffocating defense, and rapidly growing chemistry. The Tigers outperformed opponents on both ends of the court, winning by an average margin of more than 20 points and showcasing the depth and versatility that have become this roster's hallmark.
Tigers Open With a Statement at Gavilan
Reedley set the tone early with an emphatic 81–43 win at Gavilan in its first game of the stretch. A 43–14 first half put the contest out of reach as the Tigers overwhelmed the Rams in every phase.
Sophomore forward Nassef Lubowa led the scoring with 17 points and 8 rebounds, while Luke Machnik (13 points) and David Jarmon (9 points) powered a strong bench unit. Reedley's defense forced 25 turnovers and recorded 16 steals, paving the way for the blowout.
Kornegay's Breakout Performance Sparks Win at Napa Valley
Four days later, the Tigers hit the road again and edged Napa Valley 77–72 in a competitive, back-and-forth matchup.
Forward CJ Kornegay Jr delivered a breakout performance with 21 points and 10 rebounds, controlling the interior and steadying Reedley when the offense struggled from deep.
Kevin Chambers added 11 points and provided a calming presence in crunch time, while Devon Marshall dished out 6 assists off the bench. A late rebounding surge and composed free-throw shooting secured the victory.
Second-Half Onslaught Fuels Win Over Cañada

Kornegay (18 points), Lubowa (10 rebounds), and guard Lucean Milligan (13 points) led the scoring charge, while the Tigers shot 52% from the field and held the Eagles to 31.9% overall and just 2-of-17 from three.
Chambers, Solorio, and the second unit helped Reedley maintain control from start to finish.
Tigers Close Out the Run With Statement Win vs. Shasta
